AREAS OF FOCUS
Acute bacterial sinusitis is an infection of the sinus cavities caused by bacteria. It usually is preceded by a cold, allergy attack, or irritation by environmental pollutants. Unlike a cold, or allergy, bacterial sinusitis requires a physician’s diagnosis and treatment with an antibiotic to cure the infection and prevent future complications.
Hearing loss, ear pain and dizziness can be symptoms of even more serious problems. We will make sure you get a thorough examination and gentle treatment for a variety of ear problems as simple as wax buildup and as complex as chronic ear disease.
Hearing loss has a lot of different causes and manifestations. It can be sudden or gradual. It can occur in one ear or both ears. It can be temporary or permanent.
HEAD AND NECK CANCER
Most head and neck cancers are relatively preventable since they are highly correlated with tobacco use and alcohol consumption. They are also generally curable if caught early.
Neck pain is often a result of overuse of the muscles and ligaments in the neck from sports, recreational activities, work or household chores.
The nose serves three primary functions: to warm, humidify and filter air as it passes into the body. Breathing problems may impact one or multiple of these functions.
