Dr. David Edelstein, MD is an Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat) Specialist in New York, NY and has over 43 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Edelstein has extensive experience in Otologic Conditions & Procedures and Upper Respiratory Conditions. He graduated from Boston U, School of Medicine in 1980. He is affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. David R. Edelstein, an honors graduate of Princeton University, completed medical training at Boston University and his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center-New York. He is an internationally recognized expert in rhinology, diseases of the paranasal sinuses and minimally invasive CT guided endoscope surgery. He is Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Chief of Nasal and Sinuses Disease and Sleep Disorders at Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital and Chief of Rhinology at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Ariadna Papageorge, MD is an Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat) Specialist in New York, NY. Dr. Papageorge has extensive experience in Otologic Conditions & Procedures and Upper Respiratory Conditions. Her office accepts new patients.
Dr. Papageorge has a broad interest in all aspects of Otolaryngology. She has been in private practice since 1987, treating both adult and pediatric patients. Her operative interests include surgery for blocked tear ducts, reconstructive nasal surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, laser surgery for hoarseness and snoring disorders. Dr. Papageorge is an active staff member of Manhattan Eye, Ear, & Throat Institute, Lenox Hill Hospital, New York Presbyterian Hospital and The Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens.

Robert F. Ward, M.D. earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and went on to serve his residency in Otolaryngology at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He then received his fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology from Boston Children’s Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.

SINUS SURGERY
Acute bacterial sinusitis is an infection of the sinus cavities caused by bacteria. It usually is preceded by a cold, allergy attack, or irritation by environmental pollutants.
